APS Delray emerged from a simple realization: in an age of digital hyperconnection, we've become physically isolated. As our dependency on large systems increased, our resilience and connection to neighbors decreased.
We chose to reverse this trend by creating a space where people could simply show up, contribute their talents, and build real relationships. No complex applications, membership fees, or social media validation required—just genuine presence.
The name "APS" stands for "Antiquity & Progress Society," reflecting our core belief in personal growth — curious by nature, grounded in the present, and built with the tools of today. "Delray" locates us in the specific place we love and serve: Delray Beach, Florida.
Since our first beach gathering in April 2025, we've grown organically online and by word of mouth. Each month, we watch strangers become friends and friends become allies in building a more connected, resilient community.
