Start a Guild
Launch your own Decentralized Impact Guild in your community
Every guild begins with a single person who decides to show up and create space for authentic community. Your local knowledge, passion, and commitment are all you need to begin this journey.
Guild Starter Kit

We're developing a comprehensive Guild Starter Kit with templates, guides, and resources to help you launch and sustain your local DIG. The kit will include:
- Meeting facilitation templates
- Communication guidelines
- Project planning tools
- Community-building activities
- Conflict resolution frameworks

Coming Soon: The Guild Starter Kit is currently in development based on lessons from our first guild chapters. Sign up to be notified when it's ready.
Step-by-Step Guild Launch Guide
Choose a Name and Focus
Select a name that reflects your community and the specific focus of your guild. Your name can reference your location (like "APS Delray") or a particular theme that resonates with your purpose.
Find Your First Location
Choose a consistent, accessible meeting place. This could be a public park, community center, library, or even someone's backyard. The key is consistency and accessibility.
Set a Regular Cadence
Establish a regular meeting schedule—monthly is often ideal to start. Consistency builds trust and allows people to plan around your gatherings.
Invite Your Initial Circle
Start with 3-5 people you already know who share your values. Personal invitations are more effective than mass announcements at this stage.
Host Your First Gathering
Keep it simple: share food, introduce the DIG concept, and facilitate a conversation about what matters to your community right now.
Do Something Together
Choose a small, achievable action to complete as a group. This builds momentum and creates a sense of shared accomplishment.
Document and Reflect
Take photos, write notes, and reflect on what worked and what didn't. This documentation becomes invaluable as your guild grows.
Connect With the Broader Movement
Share your story with us and join the network of DIGs to exchange ideas, resources, and support.
